Tom Manzi

In Loving Memory of Our Dear Friend and Colleague, Coach Tom Manzi
August 8, 1949 – November 12, 2025

There was truly only one Tom Manzi.  An integral par of our team, Tom will be remembered not only for his unwavering passion for endurance sports but also for the kindness, encouragement, and positivity he shared with everyone who had the privilege of working alongside him.

For 28 years, Tom dedicated himself to coaching multisport endurance athletes-from first-time triathletes & duathletes to elite amateurs & professionals.  His guidance and expertise helped countless athletes reach their goals and discover their potential.  Beyond coaching, Tom was an accomplished athlete himself, achieving a ranking as high as fifth in the USA Triathlon Mid-Atlantic age-group standings.  Over his career, he competed in more than 200 triathlons, including seven Ironman-distance races-most notably the Hawaii Ironman World Championships.

Tom’s legacy will continue to inspire through the many athletes he coached, the colleagues he uplifted and the community he helped build.  His impact extends far beyond sport-it lives on in the hearts of all who knew him.

Ride in paradise, Coach.  You will be deeply missed.
