Coaching, Training, Camps.

As a native Texan, I was a weekend warrior for most of my early days. Understanding there was no magic formula to be healthy, in 1991, I began running for fitness. I did my first competition, a local 5K race, in the fall of 1993. Soon after that, I entered the endurance multi-sport world of training and racing with purpose. My view of nutrition and overall health began to improve. After relocating to New Mexico in 1998, I viewed the training as homework and the racing as the exam to measure what I had learned. Over the past 28 years, I have since completed numerous run, bike and multi-sport events, including 9 Ironman finishes. I desire to be an influence in the world of endurance sports with authenticity in life and faith. I want to model and assist others to run the ‘race of life’ with passion and purpose.

I am most fulfilled as I purposefully:

  • Serve, assist & inspire others
  • Strategically facilitate the navigation of overcoming physical & personal barriers through endurance sports
  • Promote balance in life, health & wellness

I have the privilege to assist people of various levels of health & athletic experience to fulfill their goals in the multi-sport world.

I practice a personal, comprehensive, science-based custom training program as the best approach to assist athletes in reaching their goals effectively and efficiently. Each athlete has individual needs and real-life commitments regardless if they are beginners or seasoned competitors. I assess, evaluate and create a truly custom program based on their goals, fitness, and stage of life. Developing a relationship of trust and communication is foundational. I have over 40 years pastoral experience & 28+ years endurance competition experience in addition to my 7+ years of certified coaching. This provides me the opportunity to influence & invest into each athlete personally and professionally.
