Rick, a Virginian by birth, has never shied away from hard work. At the young age of 13 he landed his first job unloading boxes off delivery trucks at the local mom-and-pop grocery store. It was also his first day as an entrepreneur. He is a serial entrepreneur and marketing guru and the founder and CMO of Selectblinds, LLC. Rick is also an adventure athlete, avid golfer and triathlete.
Rick is over-the-top creative, insatiably curious, reveler in risk, tenacious, gritty, honest, direct, energetic, enthusiastic, and excitable. His personal passion for life and living it to the fullest is palpable, carrying over seamlessly not only in his public persona but his athletic persona as well. He brings his never say die, push it to the limit lifestyle and work ethic to every race, including just showing up and running the Burning Man Ultra 50K on his off day. The reason Rick does all of this, is too show his kids a dream is nothing without proper execution and planning, and that moonshots are possible!
